ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee opened at 297.20/40 to the US dollar on Monday from 297.15/35 the previous week, dealers said.
Bond yields were down, dealers said.
A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 was quoted down at 10.62/67 percent from 10.70/75 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.03.2028 was quoted down at 11.40/50 percent from 11.45/55 percent.
The Colombo Stock Exchange opened up; The All Share Price Index was up 0.16 percent at 12,424, and the S&P SL20 was down 0.15 percent at 3,666. (Colombo/May06/2024)
