ECONOMYNEXT – The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Conclave to foster strategic alliances, explore untapped markets, and capitalise on emerging trends across sectors critical to economic development.
The Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Business Conclave on May 28 and 29 will focus on “sectors significant to the economic development and prosperity of the Indian Ocean Rim region, including agriculture, ICT, logistics, and tourism,” the Chamber said in a statement.
“Participating countries expressing keen interest in these sectors include Australia, Bangladesh, France, India, Iran, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, and Türkiye among others, ensuring significant business networking and facilitation opportunities.”
The Conclave will feature a networking reception, plenary sessions, and several sector-focused breakout sessions followed by B-2-B meetings.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (Colombo/May13/2024)
