ECONOMYNEXT – The Worldwide Monetary Fund has urged Sri Lanka to protect the tricky gained gains following an unparalleled economic crisis below the world-wide financial institution’s programme, Condition Finance Minister Shehan Semasinghe explained.
The Sri Lankan delegation led by Shehan Semasinghe fulfilled Kenji Okamura, the Deputy Managjng Director of the IMF on the 1st working day of the IMF and Globe Financial institution Spring assembly.
“Mr. Okamura commended the Sri Lankan authorities on potent programme implementation and superb reform progress. He said the Sri Lankan delegation together with Central Bank Governor Nandalal Weerasinghe and Secretary to the Treasury Mahinda Siriwardana spelled out the recent socio-economic developments to Okamura.
